The duties for this role include

• Highly proficient in complex ‘setting out’ in various types of work

• Experience of setting up initial survey control for projects

• High knowledge regarding all main constructional tolerances

• Able to use Auto Cad setting out software and manipulate electronic setting out  information and download to instruments

• Capable of understanding complicated drawings and rebar schedules

• Familiar with specification eg. Spec. for Highway Works and core contract document eg. Works Information

• Monitoring actual material used against theoretical as a % and knows what % waste would be acceptable on major materials.

• Responsible for accurate material take off and requisition of materials associated with project.

Previous experience on general Civils projects with a Civils contractor required, you must be competent and experienced in setting out and be able to manage team of Engineers.
